The Movie

Dancing Free suggests the relationship between cinema and dance, the representation of a utopia on film, in search of perfect movement and freedom. A journey of exploration to observe, document and interview three choreographers as they prepare their shows for the LAC stage: Virginie Brunelle, Annie Hanauer and Lea Moro.

Elettra Fiumi

Director, editor and producer. She is the founder of Fiumi Studios, a full service production company based in Lugano and New York. She has worked on documentaries for Netflix, Amazon Prime, The New Yorker and BBC and her films have been screened in several museums, such as the Vitra Design Museum, the Canadian Center for Architecture, the Museo del Novecento and Palazzo Strozzi.
