Tackle a social challenge with innovative solutions, contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Have (or aim to develop) a scalable and/or replicable business model, becoming an island of coherence.
Place impact at the core of their activity, with a solid and measurable Theory of Change.
Aim for financial sustainability without relying solely on an exit strategy.
Maintain decision-making autonomy while actively engaging stakeholders.
They aim to generate a positive and systemic impact starting from the territory in which they operate.

The Migros Pioneer Fund supports sustainable solutions to address social challenges, with the goal of driving systemic change toward a future-ready society. Its impact-oriented approach combines financial support with active management of incentives and risk.
The fund is part of the Migros Group's social commitment and has an annual budget of around 15 million Swiss francs. It is supported by companies such as Denner, Migros Bank, Migrol, migrolino, and Ex Libris.
