Fiorenzo is one of our long-time hubbers, with us since the very beginning of Impact Hub Ticino. With a background in business administration and a solid track record in the startup world, he now dedicates part of his work to training SMEs on how to use artificial intelligence, helping them harness its potential without losing sight of sustainability and ethics.
Keep reading to learn more about his journey and the vision that drives him.

Hi Fiorenzo! Can you tell us who you are and what you do?
I'm 30 years old, born and raised in the Lugano area, with French roots on my mother's side. I love learning new languages (I speak 7 of them), skiing, and wakeboarding.
I earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from SUPSI and completed a Master's in Business Development and Promotion in Lucerne.
My "career" began in the startup world at 18, with a platform for university students. Later on, I launched Jumparu, a sort of BlaBlaCar for shipments.
From 2019 to 2022, I worked with Too Good To Go, an incredibly enriching experience, and I'm also a minority shareholder.
Today, I work for newhome.ch, developing the market in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland, and I’m also involved in artificial intelligence, offering training and tech solutions for SMEs.
Can you tell us more about your career path? What challenges have you faced and where do you stand now?
My professional journey hasn’t been without its challenges, quite the opposite. One of the most significant experiences was with Too Good To Go, where I developed the market in Ticino from scratch. With passion and persistence, I grew our partner base from just one to over 150, and today there are more than 250.
Later, with newhome.ch, I faced the challenge of developing the Ticino market, bringing our market share to highly competitive levels. Now the goal is not just to catch up with competitors, but to surpass them, and I’m confident I can meet that challenge.
In the field of artificial intelligence, the current challenge is convincing business owners to invest in this area. But I'm optimistic that, with growing interest, I’ll be able to overcome this hurdle as well.
What kind of positive impact (in the world, in Switzerland, or in Ticino) would you like to have through your work?
The positive impact I want to generate is to build startups based on products and services that bring tangible benefits to communities, always guided by strong ethical and sustainable values. This goal is at the heart of my ongoing side project involving AI technologies.
At the local level in Ticino, I hope to see greater understanding and adoption of AI, so that entrepreneurs can fully harness its potential, increase productivity, and help position the canton among the top-performing regions, without ever losing sight of the importance of ethics.
Why did you choose Impact Hub Ticino as your place to work? What value does it give you, or do you think it could give you?
I chose Impact Hub Ticino because I had known the founders since the early days, around 2019, and was immediately fascinated by the concept of coworking.
At first, while working with Too Good To Go, I visited as a guest about once every two months. Then, in 2022, I brought newhome.ch here and chose the Nomad membership, which offers great flexibility at a low cost. After a few months, I realized I needed more stability and a consistent presence, so I upgraded to a Resident membership with a fixed desk.
But the real value for me isn't just logistical: Impact Hub is a vibrant community made up of people who share a desire to create positive change. This constant exchange, of ideas, feedback, events, and mutual inspiration, is what makes this place so special for developing my ideas and projects.
In short, at Impact Hub Ticino, you can feel the positive impact in every corner ;)
