On February 9, 2023 at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Lugano, the second edition of the Cantonal Startup Day was held. We are very happy to have participated and co-organized the event with the Department of Finance and Economy of the Canton of Ticino (DFE), Fondazione AGIRE, and USI Startup Center, and to be part of a growing innovation system that is increasingly collaborating and networking across the territory.
From today's panel discussion themed "Impact investing: a collaboration between investors and investees," it emerged how important it is for investors and investees and startups to tune in to intent so that impact is not just an idea, but translates into concrete and positive actions and results on the environment and society.
Thanks to Carlotta Zarattini, co-founder of Impact Hub Ticino for moderating the panel discussion, Paolo Badano, CEO and founder of Genny Factory SA, and Luciano Balbo, co-founder and president of Oltre Impact for sharing their experiences so generously.
