6 IMPACT PROJECTS

Impact Club 2025-2026

In 2025, together with the Investors’ Club, we selected 6 impact projects to take part in the Impact Logic and Strategy program. From August to November 2025, the teams are supported with the goal of defining or evolving their impact logic as the foundation for building a sustainable business model.

TexDesign

Pregassona

TexDesign reduces textile waste destined for landfill in Ticino, offering a replicable model of sustainability and social ransom. It transforms used clothing into minimalist furniture, made from rigid material without additives and assembled without screws or hinges, for minimal environmental impact. Production involves an industrial partner and the Caritas Ticino workshops, offering reintegration pathways and new skills in the circular economy.
With this project, sustainable design becomes an expression of a local supply chain in which the recovery of used textiles generates value, giving back space and opportunities to the community through work.

Radice was founded by a group of young people who believe in a way of living based on solidarity, support, and mutual respect.
The common goal is to create public interest housing organized as a housing cooperative. This means that each member is a co-owner of the entire apartment building and shares responsibility for its proper functioning. On this foundation, the initiative aims to promote a more sustainable way of living.

Giulia Agugliaro and Hermes Killer participate in the program on behalf of the Cooperative, serving respectively as President and Project Group Coordinator.

Bologna, Lugano

Il Fungo Eclettico is a project born in Bologna that cultivates edible mushrooms in the city, enabling everyone to enjoy more sustainable foods without compromising on taste.

The team builds circular economies by collaborating with local producers to recover food waste such as brewer’s grains, coffee silver skin, and olive pits. They produce locally, reducing emissions and the consumption of space, water, and energy. Mushrooms are grown seasonally and intelligently to ensure variety and freshness. The remaining waste is transformed into compost or biomaterials.

The team aims to replicate the model in other Italian locations and in Ticino.

Vita ai Giardini

Giubiasco

Vita ai Giardini designs and creates high-quality green spaces following the principles of permaculture and biodiversity, transforming private gardens and urban areas into dynamic, life-filled habitats with a positive impact on the environment, the microclimate, and the well-being of their inhabitants. It promotes native plants, supports the development of insects and local wildlife, spreads ecological knowledge, and actively involves people.

From small urban vegetable plots to community gardens, and from schoolyards to corporate green spaces, we create welcoming, functional, and easy-to-manage environments. Our goal is to build a network of professionals who, by combining different skills, can accelerate the spread of sustainable and innovative green practices.
