Hi Giulia! Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your business, Your Digital Corner?
Your Digital Corner is the brand I created for my marketing and communication consulting business. The idea came from my desire to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their communication and marketing efforts.
In my work, I mainly focus on digital marketing, from managing social media channels to creating and writing newsletters, and handling CRM systems. Over time, I’ve placed a strong emphasis on training and building a network of collaborators and partners, with whom I develop and manage 360° marketing projects. I believe that combining online and offline strategies, what we now call phygital, is key to creating truly effective communication.
After all, strength lies in unity!
Last but not least, I don't limit myself to my core sector — I enjoy branching out into event organization and developing projects across different fields. This year, I’ll be launching a new experiential tourism project dedicated to the silver age. Stay tuned!
Can you tell us about your career journey? What challenges have you faced, and where do you find yourself today?
My previous professional experiences mostly took place in Milan, where I worked in media centers, communication agencies, and at CondeNast Italia.
The difficult period of the pandemic, however, gave me time to reflect on how to bring more value to my profession, and it ultimately led me to launch the initiative I’m still pursuing today.
It wasn’t an easy choice at first, but the idea of working in a company and growing slowly over time didn’t fulfill me. After careful consideration, I decided to change direction, follow my instincts, and try to build something of my own, something that would allow me both to put my skills into practice and to keep learning and growing every day.
From the very beginning, I was lucky to meet valuable people who encouraged me. I listened carefully to every piece of advice and every shared experience. I learned to delegate when needed, and to step into new environments outside my comfort zone. I enjoy challenging myself in every situation.
Looking ahead, in a world that is constantly evolving, it’s hard to predict what the next big challenge will be. What remains essential is the ability to stay flexible and adapt to the continuous changes in the social and economic landscape.
What positive impact would you like to have through your work (in the world, in Switzerland, in Ticino)?
My focus is primarily on identifying and communicating high-impact social projects aimed at the cultural, educational, and environmental sectors.
I continue to pay close attention to the evolution of technology applied to communication, integrating it into my daily work.
In this regard, I strive to offer my clients updated communication and marketing solutions and strategies, capable of generating a positive impact.
Why did you choose Impact Hub Ticino as the place to work? What value does it give you or do you think it can give you?
"A place where I feel at home and work with inspiring people!"
From the very first day I joined Impact Hub Ticino, I haven’t looked back! It’s more than just a place; it’s a community of inspiring, energetic, active, and proactive people who share both their profession and their personality.
Throughout my days at Impact Hub, valuable synergies have developed, and new project ideas have sparked, resulting from authentic and stimulating discussions with like-minded people and organizations. I’m excited that these connections have translated into concrete collaborations, and I look forward to being actively involved not only this year but also in the long-term.
In work, it’s essential to find an environment where you can both work and continuously learn, receive daily inspiration, and create a network of people who engage with each other, sharing beautiful thoughts, experiences, and know-how.
