Are you sensitive to sustainability issues and want to invest in startups that can contribute to a better world but don't know where to start? We look forward to seeing you at Impact Hub Ticino on August 22 to introduce you to a newly developed training course in 5 modules for anyone who wants to understand how they can invest in startups and make an impact.
The course will be introduced and led by Angelica Morrone, a hedge fund manager and impact angel investor with more than 25 years of experience, and Jacqueline Ruedin Rüsch, founder of Privilège Venture SA, a Lugano-based venture capital firm that, through three funds, has invested in 40 startups.
Jacqueline and Angelica will share tools, knowledge, and practices essential to put one's capital at the service of projects with great potential for impact while maximizing economic return and lowering risk. The course will also be a unique opportunity to try your hand at practical cases, hear experiences from other investors and entrepreneurs, and expand your network with other investors who care about our future.
What is Impact Angel Investing?
Impact Angel Investing is a form of investment that goes beyond simple financial profit. It involves supporting and funding projects and initiatives that aim to solve the most pressing social and environmental problems, as well as offering a financial return. Becoming an Impact Angel Investor allows you to make a difference in the lives of many people and the planet by actively contributing to a better future.

The course is open to all people, regardless of their level of investment experience. The only requirement is a passion for a more sustainable future and an interest in startups that can make it possible!
When does the course start, and how long will it last?
The course will start on September 25 and will be held at Impact Hub Ticino in Lugano. It will consist of 5 evening modules plus a final evening concluding with pitch presentations of some startups. Dates and topics will be announced during the pitch meeting.
