Senior Sales and Community Manager 80%-100%

Job Summary

Impact Hub is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales and Community Manager to join our team as a maternity leave replacement. The position has the potential to be extended based on the ability of the person to create a strong income flow. The Sales and Community Manager will be responsible for driving membership sales, building and nurturing relationships within members, and creating a vibrant and engaging community within Ticino.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Drive membership sales: The Sales and Community Manager is responsible for driving membership sales and achieving monthly sales targets. This will involve developing and implementing sales strategies, conducting tours and consultations with potential members, and following up with leads to close sales.

  • Nurture member relationships: The Sales and Community Manager is the primary point of contact for members, responsible for building strong relationships and addressing member needs and concerns. This involves proactively engaging with members to understand their business and personal goals, providing support and resources, and organizing events and activities to facilitate member cross collaboration.

  • Build and grow a vibrant community in Ticino: The Sales and Community Manager is responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging community within the coworking space. This will involve developing and implementing community engagement strategies, organizing events and activities, and fostering collaboration and networking opportunities for members.

  • Coordinate with the communication team: the Sales and Community Manager works closely with the communication team to develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to promote the coworking space and its offerings. This will involve collaborating on social media content, email campaigns, website updates, word of mouth narrative and other communication channels to ensure consistent messaging and branding.

  • Co-manage day-to-day operations: The Sales and Community Manager together with the Operations Manager, are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the coworking space, including overseeing reception, managing member inquiries and requests, and ensuring the space is clean and well-maintained.


Formal education. Qualification in business, marketing, event management or a related field.
Languages. You speak impeccable Italian (native language or C1) and have good written and spoken English (level B2 or better), knowledge of another Swiss national language is a plus;
Work experience. 5+ years of experience in sales and community management, preferably in the coworking or hospitality industry. A positive track record in event organization, communication and sales. Proven familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. International experience is a plus.
Soft skills. You have first-class communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and don't let yourself get rattled even in hectic situations. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and a proactive, solution driven mentality. A passion for creative entrepreneurship, positive impact and creativity.

Note that a Sales and Community Manager's schedule can vary from day to day depending on member and sales needs, event schedules, and other factors.

Selection process

The selection process is based on three different steps:

  1. Interested candidates shall submit their Curriculum Vitae and Motivational letter to by April 14th. We do not take into consideration any applications on Linkedin. 

  2. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit a 1 minute video and a personal quote of arms.

  3. Successful candidates will be invited for a half a day long trial.
